KUBANA-2013 is celebrating its fifth anniversary in style!

Unprecedented celebration of the first KUBANA anniversary is taking place in August 1-7 on the Black Sea Сoast of Krasnodar region, in Blagoveschenskaya village not far from Anapa. The best musicians from the CIS and world-known celebrities will perform for the guests of the Coast of Freedom on several open-air stages.

KUBANA is International Open Air Music Festival. The only one that takes place on the seaside in Eastern Europe. The festival is being held for already five years in the south of Russia, in Black Sea resort, one of the most beautiful Russian places. This fact lets combine traditional pastime for joy at multi-days rock festivals with pleasure of staying at sea. This year the festival lasts for seven days. During this time guests can enjoy not only music but the different kinds of activities (sports, art, cinema) on the beach and all over the territory. The first year KUBANA was visited by 8000 people, the second year - 30000, the third year the amount of guests reached 70000, the forth - 150 000.

Traditionally, KUBANA will house different music styles – light pop-music, hard-line punk-rock, rousing ska, dynamic hip-hop, brutal alternative and experimental electronic music. There are no boundaries and limitations. The secret ingredients of KUBANA cocktail are headiness freedom, unforgettable emotions and waves of music!

The festival of such scale once again becomes unprecedented not only for the region but for the whole country.

More than 50 bands from all over the world are going to congratulate the Coast of Freedom:

The roaring Armenians from California - System of a Down; electro-punk kings from Britain – The Prodigy; MTV favorites - Bloodhound Gang; globally famous alternative monsters - Guano Apes; Christian rockers – Skillet; iconic horror-punks - Misfits; idols of global techno-rave - Scooter; stickout metalcore stars - Bullet For My Valentine; bright British indie-rockers - The Subways; leaders of extreme electronic hardcore - Enter Shikari! Infected Mushroom will bring their new 3D-show especially for KUBANA.

Line-up of the festival also includes KillSonic&Dream Mclean, Dog eat Dog, The Gazette, Streetlight Manifesto, Skindred, Banda Bassotti, Ska-P, Flogging Molly, Die Ärzte, Electric six, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and a lot of other bands from all over the world.

Also the unique experiment is waiting all Coast of Freedom guests. This year Emir Kusturica will bring his punk-opera «The Time of Gypsies» to KUBANA ground. There will be built a special theater stage for that. It will open the anniversary open-air this year.

Most of the bands from the line-up are going to have an exclusive performance in Russia at the anniversary KUBANA!

In order to meets all the requirements of comfort KUBANA-2013 changes the territory. The new home offers lots of different facilities like easy vehicle access (20 km from Anapa airport), developed infrastructure, easy access to the sea (50 m) huge territory (more than 100 ha) with lots of food-stands, camp site, shower and parking lot.

KUBANA-2013 is the greatest event of the forthcoming summer!
